Press Release:      Named a Charter Member of North American "Top 5 in Real Estate Network"

Norwalk, CT-  Reaching the pinnacle of her profession nationally, Mary Case Friedner of Legends Realty Group was accepted as a Charter Member of the Top 5 in Real Estate Network, the most prestigious of all industry achievements.

More than just a sales-driven recognition, The Top 5 in Real Estate Network meets a need that heretofore has never been addressed - helping consumers identify the most professional real estate agents in America.  To qualify, each member must first meet a stringent set of criteria, based upon performance, as well as educational and professional skills and service to the consumer.

The Network is carefully selected and managed by RISMedia which has provided the real estate industry with objective, unbiased news for nearly 30 years.  As a Charter Member of the Top 5 Network, Friedner is among the first real estate agents to be accepted into this elite organization.

Allan Dalton, the President of RISMedia's Top 5 Network congratulated Friedner for earning this top status within the industry.  "Mary Case has reached the very highest level of North America's residential real estate industry.  Not only are her professional accomplishments extraordinary, she has long been a true champion for home buyers and sellers in her area.  It is a pleasure to welcome Mary into this elite group of industry leaders."

According to John Featherston, Chairman of RISMedia, the significance of Top 5 in Real Estate is that consumers deserve full transparency regarding all matters related to the real estate transaction, which often begins with the need to select a highly competent, experienced and results-oriented real estate professional.  Top 5 in Real Estate has been established to both empower consumers with leading real estate content through Top 5 members, as well as to ensure that consumers are made fully aware that there is a material difference between average and exceptional real estate professionals.

Mary Case Friedner was my broker for my house sale in Dobbs Ferry this past August.  Not only was she great at hand holding when needed for this stressful process, when asked she had the best referrals to other services that I wanted.  The stager, contractor, attorney, mover, and others that she suggested were superb and made the sale so much easier for me.  I would definitely recommend her.

We met Mary at the very beginning of our house hunting journey.  As first time home buyers, we were very fortunate to have someone with her vast experience and knowledge in real estate on our side.  She always wanted the very best for us and we never felt any pressure to settle on a house that was anything less than our dream home.  Even on the snowiest days, she would be happy to meet up with us and show us a home.  While the journey took longer than expected, Mary was always positive and upbeat, never allowing us to become discouraged.  We finally settled into our new home this past June and we couldn't be happier.  Our dog Sheba finally has the back yard she always wanted!  While I can't say we miss spending weekends house hunting, we do miss seeing Mary on a regular basis as she has become a dear friend to us.  We could not have asked for a more wonderful person to work with and would not hesitate to recommend her as the best realtor in Westchester!

When it came time to list my home --- a tiny Tarrytown condo with a quirk\ly floorplan in a historic building --- I knew I needed a superstar agent to make the sale happen. Enter Mary Case Friedner, the rivertowns realty guru who came highly recommended by countless friends and neighbors.  Mary immediately sussed out the true value of my home, priced the unit just right, and shrewdly marketed to city-minded buyers in search of offbeat charm.

Seven weeks later, we had multiple offers on the table, and the place ended up selling for nearly 4 percent above asking price.  Wouldn't have happened without Mary's guidance, expertise and amazing diplomatic savvy.  I can't wait to work with her again --- only next time to buy a home!

To Whom it May Concern:

I am writing to you in regard to real estate services provided to the Village of Tarrytown by Mary  Case Friedner of William Raveis Legends Realty Group.

Ms. Friedner was hired as the realtor by the Village to sell a Village-owned parcel of Property on Neperan Road. The sale proved to be somewhat difficult and Ms. Friedner performed exceedingly well during these difficult periods.  The property was ultimately sold and Ms. Friedner played a major role in the sale of the property.

Very truly yours,

Dear Mary,

Chris and I want to thank you for your invaluable help in selling both of our homes in Sleepy Hollow during what was, by all accounts, a difficult market.  Your good counsel, cheer, and sound advice kept our spirits up and our outlook positive.  We fully believe that you could literally make "the cow jump over the moon"!  Result?  Our houses both sold!  Why?  Because you are the one showed both of them to the couples who bought them.  You also represented all parties at closing...something that takes a special agent.  We are so happy to have met you, and to get to know you during this process.  We would highly recommend you to anyone looking to sell their home and look forward to staying friends.  Let us know when you can visit us in Tennessee and we will toast you - with Moonshine, of course!

Staci Swedeen and Chris Skelly

P. S.  We  miss you, Mary, and Ed, and it would be a pleasure to show you around our new estates here in Knoxville! Thanks again for being the "best Realtor in Sleepy Hollow, which is how I found you way back when...!
Christopher Skelly

Mary---Thank you very much for your help getting our co-op sold---you made the long-distance transaction quite easy!...another piece of "The Legend", I guess. Everything you did is much appreciated!

Dear Mary,

Just wanted to send you a special Thank You.  You did such a super job with such thorough and caring follow-up.  It's been a pleasure working with and knowing you.

We put that in the present tense because we hope to stay in touch.  You must really enjoy your work  judging by how much heart you put into it.  Before we forget, our friend Andy in J.J. has signed a contract with a buyer---details are still being worked on.  He is very happy with the agent your contact led him to.  They pointed him in the right direction.  He immediately followed their advice on needed repairs & sprucing up & after a year and a half of his 1st agent, it did the trick quickly.

All is well in Florida and we made faster progress than we expected with a big assist from our son.  Hope you enjoyed N.C. with your family.  Glad you didhn't get hit by a hurricane.  We're taking a few days in Fairfax, Va., then a few more in Connecticut & Long Island.  Next summer hope to spend a few months up north and perhaps we can get together for lunch.

Our Very Best to You,

Joyce & George Fried

Dear Mary:

We wanted to thank you for helping me and Jay to sell our house in Sleepy Hollow Manor. Your advance planning and advice on how to price/show the house resulted in three offers in the first week it was on the market---ALL OVER ASKING PRICE.  But then your real work began because, as is probably always the case, there were the usual glitches and hassles between the bids and the closing.  It was during those weeks that your efforts on our behalf went above and beyond what we would have ever expected from any real estate broker.  You dealt with our buyers, other brokers, inspectors, workmen, charities that picked up our unwanted furniture, town agencies---the list goes on and on.  And  you helped us deal with all the issues and tasks we faced with good cheer and always a positive attitude---never objecting when we bothered you at odd hours or asked for your help.  Best of all, you became our friend, even during this frustrating time.

In addition to quarterbacking the sale of our house,k you helped us find our new Westchester "presence" at Scarborough Manor---no small task given all our requirements and desires.

There is no doubt that we will come to you again when it's time to sell or buy real estate in our area and no doubt that we would be happy to refer you to anyone who's in the market to sell or buy.  Give our best to Ed and we hope to see you both soon.

With Thanks,
Ellen Agress Gerber

Hello, Mary,
This is my first time to spend quietly going over e-mail since the devastating Thursday snowstorms...The Memorandum of agreement looks good to us, so onward to the next step!

Thank you for the well wishes on the impending sale of our house!  On behalf of Lynne and myself, the pleasure has been all ours.  It has been wonderful working with you---your professionalism, sound advice and concern for our best interests are truly heartening.  You have been both a realtor AND a sister to us...and indeed that makes what could be a scary experience (selling a house in a tough market!) SO MUCH MORE COMFORTING.  You truly are, as your e-mail address suggests, "Always on the Case!"

We look forward to a happy ending for all of us as we transfer our beloved 13 Highland to a lovely new family!
All the Best,

Dear Mary,
Sorry it's taken me so long to write this letter.

I just can't believe we've been here in Charlotte for one year.  Needless to say, this could not have happened without your help.

As you know, we were faced with 2 dilemmas.  The first was a short turnaround.  I wanted to move in 30 days.  The 2nd dilemma was "should we use a friend to sell our home".  Judy and I could not have made a better decision.

First of all,k we knew that if you didn't sell our house in the specified amount of time, we would still be friends.  But that wasn't an issue since you did it in 24 days, just based on your personal list of prospective buyers.  And furthermore, we really had to feel comfortable with who had access to our home.

The service and follow through that you provided far surpassed what we expected.  You served not only as a broker, but as our advocate.  We were never concerned whether or not our buyers were receiving the correct information.  They were!

And then, Mary, there was the closing.  Because of all the work you did, the closing went quickly and smoothly.  Not one glitch...and I should know, since I've had several closings in my life.

So here we are in Charlotte, realizing that you are not only a great broker, but a wonderful friend.

We miss you very much, and look forward to visiting you in the near future.

Warmest Regards,

Steve Kahn

Dear Mary,

Pam and I wish to thank you for your services and the attention you gave us during the recent sale of our house.

We are very pleased that we chose you to represent us.

The advertising of the property, open house and visits from potential buyers went very smoothly, all culminating in a quick and efficient closing.

We would be pleased to extol your virtues, so please feel free to use us as a reference for future clients any time.

Thank you for the lovely photographs of our family.  We will treasure them always.

With all good wishes,

Yours sincerely,

Ray Firmin

Dear Mary:

My wife and I can't thank you enough for your enthusiasm and proactive nature that made the sale of our house happen quickly in a difficult market.  Your ability to have over thirty prospective buyers through your marketing channels exceeded my expectations.  Your two open houses for other agents enabled your network of contacts to put our house high on the radar screen in a competitive market.  An agency is only as good as the individual agent selling your home.

As I interviewed five prospective real estate agents in Westchester, your energy and pride in the work that you do put you well above the others. As I have been skeptical of real estate agents in the past, your execution to deliver on everything you offered was exceptional.  You always called me before I called you, and you provided quick updates on every prospective buyer.  And, you never "sugar coated" information.

I always appreciated your input and technique through the entire negotiation process.  You worked for us from start to finish and never slowed down.

Anyone who does not hire you is making a mistake, as I can't imagine how any agent could deliver a better work product.

Thank you, again and again.

You are a true realtor, knowledgeable about the properties to be sold, the selling process, professional and accommodating.  Selling my condo with you representing me was a seamless & successful process.  Within 5 weeks, I had a buyer, amazing considering the market fluctuations.

Having lunch with you following the closing was delightful.  The restaurant, food, Y your company provided a perfect ending to the day.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you and for taking me to lunch, two very good experiences.

Hi, Mary

I wanted to drop you a line and say thank you for all of your help through our home-buying mini-saga.  I really feel that you gathered a great team of people for us and we've ended up with a beautiful home, which by is the best out of all the houses we looked at.

Without  your help we would either still be renting or have purchased a ramshackle mold/asbestos-ridden place.

Thanks again for being such a great person yourself and for the great team of people you recommended and restoring my faith in humankind as it was shaken somewhat by certain people at a certain address that shall go unmentioned.

I hope  you have a quieter period after this tax credit deadline, not too quiet of course, and get to enjoy the summer.

Mary Case Friedner, we fondly refer to her as "the miracle worker".  We were renting a house that had been placed on the market for sale.  We had a short window to shop for a new home, our 1st home.  We went through many realtors until we found the right chemistry and that's what Mary provided.  Honest, sincere, and friendly, along with proficient and efficient.  We went power shopping over the week-end.  We looked at  10 homes.  We rejected 10 homes.  The next week, Mary called me at work and had found our PERFECT home.  Three months later, we closed and moved at Christmas.  Thank you, Mary Friedner...and Merry Christmas...the season of miracles.
