We wanted to thank you for helping me and Jay to sell our house in Sleepy Hollow Manor. Your advance planning and advice on how to price/show the house resulted in three offers in the first week it was on the market---ALL OVER ASKING PRICE.  But then your real work began because, as is probably always the case, there were the usual glitches and hassles between the bids and the closing.  It was during those weeks that your efforts on our behalf went above and beyond what we would have ever expected from any real estate broker.  You dealt with our buyers, other brokers, inspectors, workmen, charities that picked up our unwanted furniture, town agencies---the list goes on and on.  And  you helped us deal with all the issues and tasks we faced with good cheer and always a positive attitude---never objecting when we bothered you at odd hours or asked for your help.  Best of all, you became our friend, even during this frustrating time.  

In addition to quarterbacking the sale of our house,k you helped us find our new Westchester "presence" at Scarborough Manor---no small task given all our requirements and desires.

Dear Mary,
Sorry it's taken me so long to write this letter.

I just can't believe we've been here in Charlotte for one year.  Needless to say, this could not have happened without your help.

As you know, we were faced with 2 dilemmas.  The first was a short turnaround.  I wanted to move in 30 days.  The 2nd dilemma was "should we use a friend to sell our home".  Judy and I could not have made a better decision.

First of all,k we knew that if you didn't sell our house in the specified amount of time, we would still be friends.  But that wasn't an issue since you did it in 24 days, just based on your personal list of prospective buyers.  And furthermore, we really had to feel comfortable with who had access to our home.

The service and follow through that you provided far surpassed what we expected.  You served not only as a broker, but as our advocate.  We were never concerned whether or not our buyers were receiving the correct information.  They were!

And then, Mary, there was the closing.  Because of all the work you did, the closing went quickly and smoothly.  Not one glitch...and I should know, since I've had several closings in my life.

So here we are in Charlotte, realizing that you are not only a great broker, but a wonderful friend.
